Where would soup be without the can? Sure there are lots of other ways to keep it, but canned soup, especially condensed, works for me. For one thing, cans recycle more or less endlessly. For another, it's fun to make firm soups slide out by poking a hole in the other end, a bit of physics that never fails to amuse me.
