One  of the things I like is that the players in this belter v inner system  conflict aren&#8217;t all brilliant strategists, and the political situation is  complicated. I&#8217;m pretty sure this perspective comes from their  gaming experiences.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The action is fast, the characters well realized, the writing is solid,  and it&#8217;s coming out both in Kindle and paperback versions. I&#8217;m thinking  this could well be an excellent Philip K. Dick Award contender, among  others.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a nice interview with the two of them on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Yu0xJpCy95o\">Orbit Books YouTube channel<\/a> in which they talk about collaborating, new space opera and other cool stuff.<\/p>\n<h3>Amazon Product Description<\/h3>\n<p>Humanity has colonized the solar system &#8211; Mars, the Moon, the Asteroid  Belt and beyond &#8211; but the stars are still out of our reach.<\/p>\n<p>Jim  Holden is XO of an ice miner making runs from the rings of Saturn to the  mining stations of the Belt.
